Let me tell you about my day yesterday. First, I went to bed at midnight. I have not been to bed that early in a long time! But, I had been up for 36 friggen hours!!! Let me tell you why. Ok….for a while I was hurt from my job and on workman’s comp for a while. Well, when I was ready to go back to work, they were laying people off left and right and therefore….I could not go back to work. So, I’ve been off for a few months and now, a sista was HURTING for money! So, I had to rob Peter to pay Paul. So, one of the things that I had to let slide was my electricity. So, yesterday…I called to make arrangements to pay it. They were like….”Oh no sista….yo stuff is going to be cut off tomorrow!” I was like, “Oh hell naw!” So, I asked Beezie to put them in his name for me. Well, we had to do a lease and everything in his name. So, in doing that….we had to take it to the power company. When we did, this little smart heffa called the apartment complex to verify it. Needless to say it did not work. So, then I had to figure out how to get a LOT of money….REALLY QUICK! I had to laugh at myself because I used to be a big crook, but I have not done any wrong in years…and here I was again trying to scheme and God was like….”Um….no-no baby girl! That ain’t happening!” I just laughed and said, “Ok, I gotcha!” So then, I had to get it together and get the money up. I was running around crazy for hours. But, needless to say, I got it done. Then, when the adrenaline stopped flowing…..I crashed….and I crashed HARD!!!!! Right before I went to sleep, I realized that I had just been grazing throughout the day. So, I had to eat. Then I realized I had not taken my blood pressure medication, omega 3 pills, or my vitamin. So, I had to get up and do all of that. I did, then I laid down and called the power company to make sure they received the payment and that I would wake up with lights! So, when I called them…they know my Sasha name. So, anyway, she said….wait….Sasha….Sasha….that name sounds so familiar. She knew me from the big girl parties that I throw. It was soooooooooooo hilarious! We talked about that instead of the bill. After all was said and done, I laid down and I looked up again and smiled and told Him….you know after all of that…it was crazy…but now that it’s done…..I did it legitimately…I got it done….and as a little treat….He let me see that we are growing because people are saying they know about the parties already! How major is that?!!!!! All’s well that ends well!

Something else crazy happened to me a few minutes ago. I was watching Intervention and something came to me about my journey. I don’t know how or why it came to me, but it did. I know it was God’s whisper, so I’ve got to listen to it. I was just sitting here watching it and all of a sudden, it was like I heard my mother’s phone ringing…I saw her answer it….I heard someone tell her. “Ms. Jackson, this is the police and I’m so sorry to tell you, but we found your daughter Mikki in her apartment. She passed away today. There was no foul play, but we just don’t know what happened yet. Please come down here to claim the body.” I then saw my mother drop the phone and break down. It was crystal clear. It was like it was happening. I don’t know if I dozed off or not, and it was in the form of a dream….or what….I don’t know how to explain it. I would NEVER kill one of my sisters….so why am I slowly killing my mother’s other daughter?!!!!! I can’t!!!!! I won’t!!! I’ve GOT to make this happen!!!! I WILL BECOME HEALTHY!!!!! THIS WILL NOT BEAT ME!!!!!!

It was rough…I’m trying to cut down the calories and switch it up a bit because I’m on a plateau from hell! So, at least for a couple of weeks, I need to ramp things up. So, that’s what I’m doing. But, good LAWD this is hard today. I don’t know why, but my eating is soooooo hard. But, I will see how it goes……pray for me y’all!

Do yourself a favor today…..take a sexy pic. No one else has to see it…..it doesn’t have to explicit….just sexy. Take it yourself….either with a webcam or a self timing camera…..just take one. Even if you don’t feel it right now….you’ll feel sexy and good about yourself. No matter how big….how little….or how you look….just take one. You might not even like it after you take it….but keep it. You can even keep it in a safe place where no one else will ever see it but you! But, take it….you will be surprised how good you feel….even if it’s later on. Just love you “some you” today!

I’m still doing good! I’m still following my plan….even started working out more…..but too much stuff is going on! And, to top it off, my damn cycle came back! And, so did the cramps. Needless to say, I’ve been in the bed for a couple of days…..I took Aleve for it, but with the high blood pressure, I don’t like taking too much of anything.

And, today….I have so much running around to do, I just hope it chills out. I’ve got to get up and get ready for my meeting, so I will catch up later on tonight when I settle down. I’ve been writing them, so I’ll put them up here, so you’re going to have to catch up with me. I need to feel better, so here’s my attempt so far……

Look at what I got….they had a good sale on blueberries.

Yeah…yeah….I know….I over did it again. But hey….now I have 64 servings of blueberries….enough to last me a little over 2 months! I’m ready now!

They had cherries on sale too…

After….what would have been 3 servings is now 13!

I know…..I know….it’s too much, but hell…..you know I can’t pass up a sale like that!

I know you are saying, Mikk……quit lyin’! But, I swear I did! Look!

This is all you need for some good old fresh and natural applesauce! 12 apples, 2 tbsp margarine, 2 tablespoons of cinnamon, 1 tsp of nutmeg and Equal to taste. Yeah I know, I forgot to put the Equal in the pic, but hush! I’m getting old!

Peel them and take out the core.

Cube the apples up. It helps to keep them from turning brown by making sure they are submerged in water for a couple of seconds.

As you can tell….I LOVES me some cinnamon!

Cut on the flame…..This is it when it starts to boil.

Look at all that bubbling goodness!!!

Cook them until they get soft. To see if they are done, take a piece with the back of a spoon and mash it to the side of the pot. If it does so easily, they are ready to get the wisk.

Use a wisk to break up the apples. You won’t have to use a mixer.

I like mine SUPER chunky sometimes….this is how I did this one. If you want yours as chunky as mine, just don’t break it up as much with the wisk and don’t let the apples get too mushy. Thank you…..thank you…..and I hope you like it!
